My name is Samira. I am a counsellor providing short-and long-term therapy to adult individuals face-to-face, online and by telephone in Reading and surrounding areas.

My Integrative Approach

I offer a safe, compassionate, and confidential space where you can simply be yourself, free from judgment or expectation. My approach is grounded in warmth and understanding, creating an environment where you can truly feel seen and heard.

Together, we’ll explore whatever is weighing on you, gently and at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re facing stress, navigating difficult relationships, or dealing with past experiences that still affect you, we’ll work to untangle those feelings, helping you find a path forward that feels more manageable and truer to you.

As an integrative counsellor, my role is to help you understand the emotions, thoughts, and patterns that shape your life. This isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about guiding you to discover insights and strengths that may have felt out of reach. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges, I’m here to support you as you make meaningful shifts that bring more peace and fulfilment into your life.

I also bring an awareness of the cultural nuances and complexities that may shape your experiences. Coming from an minority background, I understand how cultural values, family expectations, and identity can impact us deeply. My hope is that you’ll feel at home to share freely, knowing that I respect and honour the unique perspectives you bring.
